Computer Training & Programming Classes Centre
We have opened a computer center that provides free-of-cost basic skills in handling computers, software usage, browsing the internet, and beginning coding skills.
Launched to address the ever-increasing need for digital skills in today’s technologically driven world, this center aims to bridge the digital divide that often characterizes disadvantaged communities. It offers a range of courses equipping students with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to navigate and use digital tools effectively.
This initiative has grown increasingly important over the last five years. Over this period, we have trained over 100 students from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping to meet the growing demand for digital literacy and improve educational and employment prospects. The entire expense, including salaries for instructors, electricity, and internet access, is fully funded by the Green Africa Global Foundation.
By offering these training sessions at no cost, we have empowered numerous underprivileged community members with essential digital literacy skills. Enhanced competencies in technology have not only broadened their skillsets but have also opened up new avenues for higher learning and job opportunities, contributing to holistic socio-economic development and integration in the digital era.
