Clean Water Distribution
In 2020, we began our clean water distribution program. Supplying through water tankers to various areas with underserved communities, each carrying 10,000 liters of water and shared by approximately 375 to 400 persons in every given distribution, will take place. The targeted areas will include Kabiria, Kwa Omollo, Kabiro, City Prime, Kajiji Lenana, Raila, Soko Mjinga, Gatina, Wanyee, and Rubis Dagoretti Corner. This became an important starting point for ensuring that the people had access to safe and available water.
Our clean water distribution program has made quite an impact. By making sure there is improved access to water, the levels of the usual waterborne diseases that commonly afflict people in unsanitary living conditions have been greatly reduced. This program has improved not just the general health in the communities we serve but also the quality of life. Access to safe drinking water, in fact, improves health outcomes in the community by contributing to the welfare of all its members. We will be able to fulfill our commitment toward creating a healthier and resilient community.
